I've found a database site full of UHF and VHF frequencies. It seems to be national. link
It's quite good as you can search for areas, companies, oragnisation types etc.
Obviously I only listen to what I am licensed for and don't encourage anyone uses this site to get any frequencies they aren't meant to listen to.

It's eons out of date in places, and not very consistant, as it has vhf police for Lancashire in both AM and FM, of which it has done neither for about 3 1/2 years. It also has Cumbria on both modes too! Cumbrian Police within the past 2 - 3 weeks has emigrated to the planet Airwave.
I'd like to find it's source of frequencies, as it only has about 8 for Ayrshire, possibly the 3rd or 4th most populous county in Scotland with about 380,000 residents. The one police frequency it has is a bit wrong in detail.
