BBC on 455.50625

Hi I'm hearing what appears to be a rebroadcast on 455.50625 of BBC one, Doesn't seem to be an image but a real signal on this frequency, very odd. Any ideas why this is being done?

Close to the signal there is a signal on 455.43125 repeating something about an "ident".

You are likley picking up production feed back loops to the presenter. You near a tv studio? I used to get s9 signals from LWT studios on the southbank from Greenwich

I live in York, Also it seems to be 5 news being played now on one of them.

Possibly outside broadcast talk back, have a look on the internet for any news of a BBC event local to you..
When there are televised race meetings at Ascot (8 miles away) and Windsor (2 miles away) I can pick up similar signals around 455MHz..

I see BBC have an outside broadcast unit in York covering a murder..

Are you near the estate where the young girl was killed?
