Re: Go north east buses
are you aware of the ofcom database and how to use it?
if not go to
http://spectruminfo.ofcom.org.uk/spectrumInfo/licences
sort of licence business, then for this purpose technically assigned
what ever your frequency range is you want to search then select MHz
then on the map zoom in and use the select area cross at the top, click on it and drop it in the middle of your search area, then left click and expand it out to make the search area wider.
then click submit search.

Thanks man, I'll have a look
UPDATE: It seems like this is more of a finding a needle in a haystack operation, I cannot find the company's frequencies

Re: Go north east buses
This is my understanding: The bus company will likely have a TX frequency (depot transmit) and RX (driver transmit, depot receive).
I search the WTR like this: say the frequency I'm getting the depot/taxi firm on is 165.125, I search between 165.1 to 165.2. Assuming my search radius is correct, I get the licence holder with their TX and RX frequencies. I program the RX freqs in and if I'm in range, I get the drivers.
Of course, there may be a standard offset from TX to RX freqs (4.8 mhz on the stuff I have in my scanner) which you could apply to the depot freq and see if you hit paydirt.
