It looks rather promising but wondering what the possible RRP of this things is going to be?

Spoke to the Icom guys at the ham fair and the 8600 is likely to be around £2000 and the ICR30 would make a big dint in £1000 is what I was told!
DVR-1, TRX-1, Ws1088, SDRPlay, Funcube pro+, icom 7300, UNIDEN BCD436hp, Icom 51E and loads of other crap! :thumbup:

Interesting! Looks like a nice radio. Very strange that they chose to only decode those specific digital modes though and not DMR.
"The IC-R30 will be able to decode D-STAR, P25, NXDN and dPMR digital (conventional) modes."
