Western Isles Of Scotland

Post by The Pea Launcher »

Just wondered if anyone could help me with a few frequencys.
I'm off to the Scottish Islands for a couple of weeks, Arran and Bute and Ayshire coast for a short while.
Has anybody got any frequencys of interest to me without me having to trawl through the whole internet.
Shipping I'm guessing might be busy and anything for Caledonian Macbrayne Ferries?

I will have all frequencys at my disposal from HF right up through the bands.
Thanks

If this was posted in the Scotland frequencies board I'd have been able to get someone to help at the time.

Cal Mac use 157.55 (ch 31) in some places, but may use other channels too.
Plus much activity at times around the military range on Benbecula. Try 68/82/168
Forum is largely relevant to me, I just look at recent posts.
KEY : = channel/stud | ~ = CTCSS/DCS | ^ = transmitter site | ¯ = overhead | * = trunked
