) and never heard much. As for magazines SWM (Shortwave Magazine) and Radioactive, generally available at WH Smiths etc are about the best out there. In saying that, there isn't a huge range to choose from. The only other one being Practical Wireless which is more amature radio based. I think there is also still available, Ham Radio Today as well.
