Going to order from here https://elpanelandtape.co.uk/el-backlights/ , excuse my ignorance but in the boxes "backing" and "inverter" do I just choose " none " ?

Thanks

In the 2006s case you dont need an adhesive backing or an inverter. In my experience the old EL panel slides out and is replaced directly with the new one.Only unsoldering/ soldering required is to the 2 little connecting pins.Takes a little dismantling of the scanners innards but not much.
So choose 'none'.Handy website BTW.
PS this is only my experience.Others may have something to add.

Might help.http://nr8o.dhlpilotcentral.com/?p=153
