new prototype standalone FRN box

Tired of the range restrictions of current radios communications check out this prototype By Mike. This will keep you in contact where ever there is internet. The IP Band Radio can use 3g/4g WiFi and Radio to make sure your don't loose contact with your FRN Channel of choice. Being that it uses a standard Microphone there won't be any issues when driving and talking but of course their is a hand free option. No release date yet but be sure its coming and I certainly can't wait. 8)

Re: New teamspeak server

Post by rummageit » 31 Mar 2015, 22:34

quick update Pi, As a stand alone home gateway unit/ or as internet radio it works Great sadly due to the way Frn communicates with the Auth server there was a issue when Mobile switching cell towers causing disconnection. We are now experimenting with Teamspeak which we are having much better results with. We have a teamspeak server up and running which anyone can join or connect gateways too and have a play.just remember no swearing on linked channels and respect other users. Our teamspeak server is sdrl-teamspeak.noip.me or search server list for sussex downs radio link Server with most clients is the main other is back up! Default main is linked to our Main Zello channel Sussex Downs Radio Link so if no one is active in teamspeak calling out in main room will usually get a response from someone. Zello link will be closed from around 1am through the night (uk) Just to stop random shoutouts on main channel through the night until we have more moderators. If you wish to set up a permanent Gateway Let a mod Know and we will set up a room on the Teamspeak server for your Area and a post on our website. Gateways can move freely between rooms. Main site sdrlcentrl.co.uk
