Thats something ive been looking at for quite a while, i work offshore and the platforms all have wifi in most areas, a pair of these would be ideal, one with me and one back home, the only thing is the cost... i expect them to be very expensive for what it really is... at the moment zello works just as good on my phone,.

i did look at a motorola varient before but again a bit pricey.

... there was a two way supplier in the uk who was going to roll out a similar radio that used the mobile phone networks , this would give you almost 100% coverage... again the prices were astronomical ...
