Anyone have any experience of linking a SIP PBX (I'm using Asterisk and FreePBX) to a radio network be that network radio or DMR?
Would be great to have some practical examples of this. I can run via a CentOS, Ubuntu or RPi.
The DMR radios are simplex and therefore not suitable for a Motorola Gateway from the repeater.
Any options???
Sam

its not a good idea to use vanilla asterisk
there were some forks to the code a few years ago . you really need to be using one of the radio specific images with native support for the URI rather than compiling the driver code on a vanilla asterisk build.
