Taxi Tranceiver

Post by BertLFC »

Think i'm in the right forum here but was just wondering, a friend just phoned and said a car come in as part-ex in his work with a taxi radio under the seat. He's very kindly pulled it out and is donating it later. Unfortunatly i got no specs or make/model yet but need to know if it is of any use to me. Can it be converted? and if so to what and how.
Ta very muchly,
Rob

Come back when you have some make/model numbers and im sure we'd be able to help identifying it.

Unless your licenced as an amateur though, it's probably of no use to you really..

as above, until we know makes/models not a lot we can tell you.

If its uhf you might find it useful for pmr446, if not then only if you are a ham or have a uk general pmr licence...

if possible get the make, model and a photo of the front, and a clear photo of the back panel, including any information plates...

if it will be no use to you why not put it in the trading post section?

welcome to the forums.
