Looking at the frequency options - I expect this one will sell well in south America ;-)
Will the next movie in the series be The Fast and The Funeral?

I've had the mk1 unit.
The receive was very sensitive, and the unit well made.
The actual functionality is quite primitive, and its basically two
separate radios shoe-horned into one box.

Saying all that it does what it should, and very well, for a very good price.
Why pay nearly £150 for an FT-60 when this covers most functionality for
approx' half the price ?

Well, now it cover ALL the functionality - and the batteries don't cost anything like as much.

Yeah, looks like You'll need 2 for the "brazilian CB band".

EDIT: Looks like they don't do one that covers the uplink at all... oh well. I don't speak Portugese anyway!

That'll be one country's particular band - like Thailand's 245MHz CB band.

Once I have the cash, I think I'll buy another one of these.
