25watt handie ?

Post by gmham »

Sorry if it's possibly been discussed before but noticed these on eBay this morning.. 25 watts from a handie ?? Given what looks like standard build i.e. No great big heat sink attached to the body off the radio have to say that would be the ultimate hand warmer :D can't see the battery holding up too long even if the full 25 watts is not as accurate as stated :?

Anti jamming.. what's that ?

That looks like a diddy fan in there. Not too sure I want 25w of RF next to my lug hole.

No idea, maybe they just mean that your 25W won't get jammed by a 9 year old on 500mW?

And you're right, 4000mAh at 25W will last about an hour (real world experience, not complicated maths stuff).
