Hi there,
Does anyone know what the black foam/tape you get is called with a mobile antenna (I know Diamond and Comet supply it). It is used to sandwich the coax when it passes through a door over the seal.
I am trying to source some to refit an antenna on a new vehicle.
Thanks.

They look like something you could pick up in B&Q.

They're usually the open cell foam often found on lightweight packing - it deforms pretty flat when squeezed and then expands into the small gaps to preserve the waterproofing. I've used this sticky backed tape before.https://www.studiospares.com/ProductDet ... x?p=406680 squashes nicely. half inch wide and 3mm thick before squashing.

Apologies for the delayed reply. Thank you for the offer, I managed to source something similar locally - fingers crossed it stays stuck.
