Re: tytera announce forthcoming DMR mobile
Interesting, I'm on the lookout for something that will kick a few whiskies out of the back.
Is it a 380 with an RF amp in a bigger box?
Price is key though, sub £200 and I may have a punt.

Re: tytera announce forthcoming DMR mobile
software must run and lead must be available before I take a punt
it must also support either basic / enhanced encryption same as my other sets
REALLY want to get a cheap small DMR mobile though - but not going to pay half again for CPS and rib !

Re: tytera announce forthcoming DMR mobile
bigbloke im after the same thing... a cheap and cheerful mobile DMR set... and this looks pretty good! just need to know a price now before i splash out my hard earned!...but if the Md380 is anything to go by.. it should be a decent set! and hopefully as with the 380 they will chuck in a free cable haha

Re: tytera announce forthcoming DMR mobile
I fancy one of these puppies, price is the key for me as it wont have a lot of resale value after its been in a builders van for a year or two. id rather trash a £150 set than a £450 Moto.
Alinco DR135DX, Baofeng UV-5R, TYT MD380 (UHF), Realistic Pro-2035, JRC NRD-545 DSP, whitestick and ½ wave silver pole on the chimney and various lengths of wire draped around the garden.

I wish they would bother to proofread their documents before publishing them. "Digital sensibility" *rolls eyes*

Probably not.handyguy2002 wrote:Are these dualband.
Be nice if it was and DIN-standard to fit in a dashboard. That'd do me nicely then!

Re: tytera announce forthcoming DMR mobile
Maybe they're a beta tester like simonthewizard and M0OGY? Those sort of guys get trusted with early releases that might not quite be the finished article because of their technical feedback and honest, unbiased opinions.bigbloke wrote:what grinds my gears is the blatant 5* review "i use it with ham radio" when its not even available
