Is anyone familiar with this set?

Has the firmware got any better since the brutal review on eHAM from two years ago?

Has the software got any better?

From what I've heard/seen online, it is not a very good radio, however I haven't had any first hand experience

I am struggling to find anyone that says anything good about it other than the seller.

eHAM review basically said it was rubbish, probably give it a swerve.

I would if I were you. There are plenty of other good DMR radios out there. Are you looking to buy your first one?

I've got an MD380 on the way, mainly because radiosification has an excellent vid on the tube that explains to a numpty like me how to program the thing.

I just hope GB7PE actually happens, they have been granted a licence to run alongside GB3PE, but obviously the kit is a lot more expensive than an analogue repeater, I may well contact them and offer a couple of quid if they need it.
