hi guys, while I was looking for a radio, I came across this,2015-Baofeng-x-Misuta-UV-5R which has new chips ,,
has anyone got one of these and are they any good,

Not sure what the new chipset does, but they still have that shoite aerial on them.

They probably enhance performance a little but you would probably need to have radios with bothe chip sets side by side to notice any difference.

The UV5 is great bang for buck though no matter what you think of the chinese kit.
I will not be commanded, I will not be controlled.
n+1 the formula for working out how many radios you need with n being the current amount.

For £31 you can get the tri-power 2015 model - 8w.
