Measuring RF power

Post by torquetube »

Hi all,

This may be a silly question (sorry if it is) but, I'm trying to measure the RF output power of my Moto GM300, would a CB swr/pwr meter work if it's set to measure the pwr?

A CB power meter will not measure the power as it is for HF, you require a UHF power meter which can bought under amateur radio supplies they are often SWR and power meters combined.
Do not believe everything that is in black and white.
