HI i have recently got a Tonfa uv985 , i got programming cable but cant get software,

baofeng software is not backward compatible, I believe the Tonfa uses an early firmware. So if you have the latest software it won't work, try looking for an earlier version i.e. BFB290 or older which has been known to work.
