Guys i have the Mitex and the Wouxun. I have the software and lead. It works on my computer.
I have got channel 1-3 working but when it comes to 4 onwards i dont know how to save the next codes as it seems to overwrite the first 3.

How do i use the wouxun software to sort this out.

I know im doing something wrong.

hi guys

I dont know if any of you guys have a bit play with these mitex, but have you looked at the freqency that these can go to
Field1=134-175MHZ|350-390MHZ|395-475MHZ|395-425MHZ|445-475MHZ|100-510MHZ
maybe room to play around with,,

sorry I cant play as I dont have any mitex to play with
but the soft ware seems to look like the wouxun just with the 16 channels instead of the 128 ,,

i noticed these radios in maplin tonite when i was in there, they look nice, make sure you have the software set up for the vhf band, and make sure you have selected the correct com port.

Has anyone found a way of reprogramming the Mitex Sport (VHF) radio yet please....I've tried using a kenwood cable, and the SFE820 software. When I try to read from the radio, it says "Because the type of radio does not match, communications is interrupt" <sic> {bnghd}

I could really do with changing some of the tones on this radio.

TIA, Jim

Hello,

Which Mitex handset do you have? They use their own specific software.

Mitex Site Frequency details.JPG
First attempt at uploading an image.... Hopefully above is the screen shot of the Mitex Site frequencies that are programed as standard into all Mitex Site radios.

Thought others may be interested to see, apologies if this is old news.

Victor.

Edit: Just noticed channel 16 says it is the same as channel 15 - not sure why. channel 16 is infact blank for scanning.

Mitex Sport VHF programming
software is the SFE S-580 software
https://hamfiles.co.uk/index.php?page=d ... munication
hardware: I used a generic Baofeng UV-5R programming lead.

Appreciate it is an old post but I couldn't find an up-to-date answer, and got this setup working today.

A bit off topic, and a long shot, but does anyone know the part number for the Mitex VHF Sport RF final?
