could you narrow it down a bit ??

VHF i think 174 to 190mhz area, UHF 440 to 470 ish, but with hacked motorola software 430 is available..
easy to program with a home rib..
also the sets are 16ch just take off the channel knob turn upside down and locate the little plastic stopper thing, snap it off or cut it out, stick back on the set...instant 16ch..!!!

thanks for the reply. sorry i will narrow it down - what frequency is each channel as an example channel 7 on the vhf model might be 164.600mhz or maybe on the uhf model it is 449.310mhz not saying that they are the right ch and freq combinations. but i would like to know what freq each channel is on them if anyone knows.
also about the 16 channel thing is that on 70cm?

There are two (or more) versions. A VHF model and a UHF model. They look the same but are designed to operate on different bands (VHF or UHF). They are programmable by plugging them into a computer (using the correct software and appropriate interface cable), you can program each channel with any frequency the radio is capable of (within it's UHF or VHF capability).

All sixteen channels could be the same, or each could be different, or some may be blank, or .... It all depends on what the last programmer put in them.

Unlike PMR446 radios, these are completely customisable by software. They are designed with the idea that the original dealer sets the radios up specifically for each customer and the end user just 'uses' them. The last thing you want is some security guard deciding to tamper with the programmed frequencies!
