Hi,
I am looking for some help on the in's/out's of a LINTON LT-6600. It has a Yaesu look to it. I have some other radios from 409shop and saw this for sale. I have bit of a collection on X-Brand radios from China and was thinking of adding it to the collections. But as with all radios I look up a bit info first.
Thanks

Yeah, I see what you mean. That really does have that 'Yaesu' look to it.
The Linton LT-6100 Plus has a similar 'Yaesu' look.
You've got to love these 'Chinese Take-aways', They just keep getting better.

Re: Has anyone got a LINTON LT-6600
Upon closer examination I believe the LT-6600 is the PX-333 in another body. As far as I can tell, Puxing make Linton's radios. Or at least the internals. Every Linton radio has a corresponding Puxing model. Linton have also released the LT7700. So I believe the Linton 6100, 6600 and 7700 are all just incarnations of the PX-333. Who knows, maybe the build quality is better? The ONE feature I wish Puxing would roll out to all there radios is the channel lock out. If you look at the keypad of the PX-333 and all the Linton models mentioned above the 0 key has the word 'lock' written on it. According to the manual this allows the user to add/remove channels from the scan list. This is a feature Wouxun have denied us for too long!

Usually, the 'Lock' button just locks the keypad/dial from accidental use. Although, I have no idea what it actually does on these radios.

Generally on the puxings the button with the 'key' on it is the key pad lock. According to the px-333 manual the 'lock' on key 0 allows you to add/remove channels from the scan.
