Intek MT-5050 radios are they any good ???

Intek MT-5050 radios are they any good ???

Anyone know anything about the Intek MT-5050 radios like are they any good and has anyone done the antenna mod and dose it make any difference ???

If you put MT-5050 into the search box it brings up some useful information that may be of interest to you. Never had one myself though.

I have two of these radios, there not bad radios and they can easily be modded to do 4watts, from memory there are 3 metal tabs to cut but You'll only have to cut one if you just want the 4 watts without the PD433 channel expansion. There is also the antenna mod which is pretty straight forward.
