I don't know the background story but it sounds like you've set up a parrot repeater? Has it got an announcement? That is the best way to help people discover it. Anyone scanning the channels will hear the announcement if you set it to announce every 10 mins or so.
I heard one before that just had an announcement saying that it was a parrot repeater open for public use.

Is this the parrot jobbie at Ellesmere Port? Clear as a bell Point Of Ayr n also Talacre Beach but not much traffic thru it...
