Beam with 0.5 watts ? I'm using a pair of midland G7's, i did use a pair of binatone action 1100 's i think they where, these where good. Although i made few contacts, i heard a lot of local people. It did seem far removed from cb where everyone freely talks to everyone else. Its more like the people i was hearing new each other, and PMR was there way of staying in touch.

I'm not expecting miricles this time round, and 0.5 watts is not much, but i should make the lower range where i am, have to see how it goes now nights are closing in.
