extended frequency

Post by handyguy2002 »

Hi guys. While looking on internet I came across a mod that apparently extends the frequency on the kirisun s780. Not my work but may come in useful to someone.

You can gain additional bandwidth on the Kirisun S780 and the Zastone DP860 with a quick edit of the setting.ini file located in the CPSC program directory for your respective radio. I can now tune my radios from 269Mhz thru 570Mhz with this simple edit. Simply edit the ini file and change it to suit your needs. For my Kirisun S780 and the Zastone locate the freq2 line in the setting.ini file and make it look like the text below:

freq2=[269-570MHz]

min2=269000000

max2=570000000

I have confirmed that the radios transmit and receive in both digital and analog mode with these new frequencies. Enjoy!

269mhz?

That could get some people into a lot of trouble if they have had a couple of white ciders.

Think about the effectiveness of the transmitter at those freqs though, the antenna isn't tuned to them either.

Good point well made, 200mhz is a big span for a rubber duck. But I guess that if you needed to use say 275mhz you could put on a twig to match.

Do these things have LPFs?

This Chinese shít is great for the right people, but it brings certain frequencies into the state regulated budget of certain others.

Very good point actually. Most of the rubber ducks I own have frequency ranges of about 70,000,000,000 mHz
