Xtn446 fault

Post by Arrkon »

Hi guys, just dug out my old xtn446, but even with brand new batteries (rechargeable or alkaline), it's refusing to transmit, access menu or anything in honesty.

Screen is showing half battery, and channel one. No back light. Tried what I believe to be the reset (ptt and menu while turning on), no change.

Any suggestions?

Not seen em as cheap as that. Maybe £50ish. Just wondered if anyone had been in a similar predicament.

But they're spares and repairs, the same as the OP already has, if he bought them, then potentially he would have four that don't work instead of one that doesn't work.
