Got my first ever PMR contact on the weekend. Approx 35 miles Exmoor-Pontarddulais. Binatone Action 1100.

Next time upload it on YouTube to see the signal strength and clarity,what the other station using?

Thanks. Maybe a stupid question but is it legal to put on Youtube?

Not sure what the other station was using. Signal was v clear - sorry as a newbie not familiar with signal reports (suggestions welcome!).

Of course, whether or not you wish to post video evidence of yourself committing an offence on the Internet is another question entirely...

I'm sure that you have already considered this though. A little bit of common sense if / when you do bend the rules and you'll be fine. ;)

They said they were using a standard PMR446 radio, so what would be illegal?
