Binatone Action 1100.

This radio is very good but it is literally a rebadged Action 950, Is it that much effort to change the microchip modules up a bit?

i picked up a set of binatone 1100s from argos last week seems to be well built radios good range i have but one gripe with the sets why o why did they design the radios with the dam mic hole on the right hand side using the set as intended in the left hand thumb on the ptt button gripping the set your fingers cover the bloody mic hole other than that they seem to be very good value for the cash.

Is that how you're meant to use them... lol
I use my action 950's (same placed mic) in my right hand, with the index finger on the PTT

Better than some old Binatone MR radios which have one jack that makes it transmit constantly.
