Using PMR radios as a ghosthunting aid?

Post by infinityandbeyond »

Hi,

I wondered if using a PMR handset and putting it in a known haunted location either transmitting constantly or with voice activated facility if its likely to capture any paranormal activity in the form of EVP'S , Sounds caused by poltergeists etc.. And monitoring it in another room with another handset or scanner?
I don't know if any negative energy in a room can effect the battery flattening it quickly?

Or would it just be better to leave a digital sound recorder on and leave it for a few hours or day and come back to it? (thats if the batterys not gone flat)

Has anyone tried it that can advise or even anyone managed to capture anything paranormal?

hey ...don't mock guys
I was on the 446 the other night scanning around and i was rigid !
disembodied voices screaming at eachother, ghostly music, and an alien bleep-bleeping that seemed to only happen
when the "voices" were trying to communicate. I think one of the entities must have been a deceased serial killer or something ...and he said "if i get hold of you c**ts, I will kill you" ...then a lot of laughing and whispering .....
So you see ...PMR ...DOES the job !!
Better than Derek Acorah in my opinion

Picture below of Derek, breaking through to a regular 446 DX Net in Stockport.
seconds before this he dropped his baofeng after being called a scouse bast***d by a mysterious growling male

Derek Pakora. What a star.
Have you ever wondered why whenever Derek gets taken over by a spirit and he is the conduit for the long dead person, that wherever they are in the UK. They too have a scouse accent.

You are not faulting Yvette Fielding tho. Something about her........

Derek Acorah not even his real name i think its Johnson as he was a footballer till he got the job on TV he was also crap at that (i think he got the sack for faking it on TV)(hmm so just like a footballer then!). As to our first question how will you get them to press the transmit button ? or am i thinking too deeply on this?

Oh and also batteries not a problem all you have to do is dip them in ectoplasm before you charge them and they will be OK

Bogget :?
