Re: Using PMR radios as a ghosthunting aid?
you know, i did rip in to the original OP.....and you guys know I am not the treehugging, ghosthunting type...
but that being said ...you got UFO's, ghosts, crop circles, stone circles, alien abductions, ancient religions ..and more....maybe its because I a getting old ....but you got all this fringe stuff and if NONE of it is real, then we have millions of seriously bent up people in the world (which is possible) ....but if even some of it is real ...then there must be SOMETHING we don't know about going on .....I mean we can't know everything ....can we?
Is all this kafuffle part of the SAME "something" we just can't get a handle on yet? ...common sense tells me there must be SOME truth in it all ..but what?
I got recommended a book a few months ago (yes i do READ) ...and i put it on my ereader and gave it a blast ..It was called Gods of the new Millenium by this Alford Guy .....I started by sniggering through the fist chapters, but after a while it got me....Bloody books!
before long i will be "watching the skies" and hugging a ouija board LOL

I tried it once and heard a faint voice which got louder and louder, eventually i could make out the words:-
"RIGHT! i said, right, turn right at the roundabout you bellend. Your test is in a fortnight you gomrell, if you can't follow a simple instruction like that, you will never get to Cleethorpes...... at least not on a motorway."

Re: Using PMR radios as a ghosthunting aid?
Care to explain the science that explains how a battery discharges if it is not supply current? Especially with lithium cells that have a very slow natural discharge when unconnected. Oddly - I'm not able to prove fraud by these people. I work with spiritualists frequently as part of my job and have never ever been able to prove they are frauds, and too many bizarre events to count as luck. Technology, however, I cannot accept as being subject to any of this stuff, real or fake. Physics is physics.
