Hello Guys,
For those still active.
Please do swing the beam towards North coast holland from time to time....
Just put back up one of the loop yagi's in a fixed position towards central east coast UK.
Its monitoring ch 1-20 all the time for the rest of the summer.
Kind regards,

I don't think its part of the cell phone network anymore. I herd its now part of digital freeview right now. 934 MHz is now illegal and has been for a while. If the military do use 934 MHz you don't wanna be transmitting on military frequencies thats for sure

It's nowhere near Freeview, and is definitely part of the cellphone bands.

Re: 934 Mhz
Hmmm.....yes your right the words military are not used there is a reason if you think about it........
Instead they use the words
Government band at 933-935 MHz - ETACS operating to specification MPT1324 (base transmit) permitted on a pre-emptive basis.
934-935 MHz on temporary loan for TACS to assist migration to GSM.
All i can say is there are persons in camouflage outfits and in blue ones who use radios on 934mhz
Trust me on this i would NOT be using any radio on this freq and yes the phone service has some limited TEMPORARY use as well.

If you get just a YES or NO answer it will mean either you should already know the answer or you have proved yourself incapable of understanding the answer. Also if you think I need to explain what I type then perhaps you should realise your own limitations

Re: 934 Mhz
I vaguely remember a years or two ago, mention of a large network of 'official' users on fairly beefy UHF power (around 800 or 900 MHz?) that had completely escaped detection by the scanner community. It would be interesting to see if anything will turn up now that so many people have got SDR receivers up and running with wideband capability and waterfall displays

Hey, the guy just said that if anyone does still use 934, swing your beam in his direction, I don't recall him asking for a lecture on the legality or morality of it.

Re: 934 Mhz
That's enough beam-swinging - I thought this was a respectable board. If you must swing your "beam", do it in the privacy of your own bedroom, thankyou very much.
Welll, really.
