No, the frequency displayed on the radio is not the actual frequency the radio is transmitting on.
When in channel 9 mode the radio is actually transmitting on 447.00625. I have confirmed this with my frequency counter.
thanks for that. I have just tried it and it and you are right. I was that much in a hurry to try this out, i failed to see your other message explaining in full. One of my PMRs was on channel 1 and the other on channel 9 and i couldnt hear my bleeps on channel 1 on the other. I just saw the channel frequency as the same and thought it didnt work but it does

On the Action 950s, and probably later models such as the actions 1100 or whatever it's called, it shows 446.00625 but it is actually on 447.00625, or possibly 447.005, since my frequency counter is not that accurate. But anyway, the point is, it not actually on the frequency shown on screen.
hi highway patrol, I dont use it that often, just if the other pmr channels are very buy or if im getting followed by muppets, but if I do use the channel i still dont here anyone else on there Idont here digital signal either,

Even if it's off-tune, you should get the same end digits on ch1 to ch8 and 447.00625 if that's what it is. If the end digits are 1.25kHz lower then it must be 447.005
