Thursday night we had some high winds and when I got back home at about 4.30am I noticed the antenna was down. Looking at it the next day I was surprised to find the roach pole was still intact yet it was the aluminium pole that had kinked and bent over. This 30foot fishing pole is one strong piece of kit.

I was going to take it down anyway to ft a TL2 antenna and horizontal dipoles for ham bands so looks like mother nature has done this for me already to go.
