Search and Rescue frequencies please

can anyone help me out , i am looking for the frequencies to be able to receive the search and rescue frequencies , I live near the wash on the (norfolk/cambridgeshire boarder) i have been told 5.680 is this correct ???

How do i listen to theses frequencies ive been trying to find out for a long time now but i don't seem to be get anywhere i''m a avid mountain biker and a wondering as i have a radio so that i don't have to worry about a phone signal or could i ring them and tell them the channel and frequencies i'm using

You would need a radio that does HF. Not heard NMOC on HF for a bit myself.

You may still not be able to make contact with a radio - if you're that bothered get a sat phone, and don't ride alone. That last one is from a qualified senior MTB trainer (me!).
