LF & MF Marine Beacons
Are these still operational? They used to give an ident in morse/cw. From what I remember they were in use at ports, harbours and lighthouses. Used to listen to get log as many as I could 20 odd years ago, also good for CW receiving practice!

Re: LF & MF Marine Beacons
The aeronautical NDB's are still out there, not as many as 20 years ago but plenty.

I've heard one around 300KHz from near Norway recently, but it will be dependent on conditions.
