frg-7 receiver

hi, hope someone can help me.....i have the the frg-7 receiver the trouble is it has a digital readout and it is a pain..i have just got hold of a analogue wheel tuner for it.....is it as simple as just a simple task of just taking the digital tuner out and putting the analauge one in its place

From memory of fitting the digital readouts @ 40yrs ago, it should be a straight substitution, I remember doing 3 or 4 in an evening, sadly the details have faded..
