I owned a scanner back in the early 90's, it covered from low frequencies to mobile phone bands of those days, once scanning kind of went quiet when it went digital I put it away in a cupboard.
Anyway; 20 years later! tidying up that cupboard recently, I found my old scanner but it no longer worked..somethings wrong with it? so I bought an eton g3 as I wanted to get back into listening.
The bands seem a whole lot quieter now? and I no longer have my old books of frequencies..I've had a look on the threads here but many of them seem to relate to USA sw freqs or further out ones,which I cant hear.
I can pick up volmet and things, I used to like all the clandestine stuff too..Really though I am open to interesting listening on all bands.
I have just lost touch on what lies where and often spend any time I have scanning empty spaces looking for signals and probably in the wrong places.?
