Which coax is best for just receiving on a AOR AR-3000 ??

whatever you can afford or want to use..
i use double braided 75ohm coax on my scanners, they work great..
could use RG213 RG8 mini8 whatever you think is best,
and consider the length needed..
even satellite coax will work on short runs, heck it works on satellite dishes.

I have several aerials for my scanner, and most of them are wired with CT100 satellite cable. It's cheap, it's low-loss to about 2 GHz and it's flexible. Double-screened, with a foil and braid. You may need to fiddle with the connectors a bit (CT100 is a 7mm cable), but where there's a will there's a way.
