Hi
While munching on my lunch yesterday, I was thinking about the 26 MHz broadcast band (25.6 to 26.1) and if it was still being used. So a quick internet search turned up mainly DRM (digital radio) tests and proposals as a local groundwave service.
So does anyone know what the recent 26MHz DRM position is, and is there any AM broadcast stations heard recently?
I have just discovered mention of 26MHz DRM on the TM1 forum, but that was a thread from several years ago.
Cheers

I've heard a couple of US broadcast stations on 11m in the past. EiBi lists Radio Rwanda as TXing DRM on 25740 but not heard it. Seems to mainly simplex stations making use of at at the moment Dave.

Thanks for the reply Crusty.
I have a little earwig in the 26MHz BC band region and see what crops up.
Just been watching this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9iBHMgfa ... re=related

Re: 26MHz (26000kHz) Broadcasting
18 months on and today I did hear a weak music station on 26.020. It sounded near/middle east area. Could of been a CB'er of course playing music but it played for quite a while suggesting it may be broadcast. Anyone else heard it today or recently??

Re: 26MHz (26000kHz) Broadcasting
Back in late 2004, I remember parked up on a hill with my Lincoln and Sirio 4000, hearing an American commercial station during the US elections, somewhere on the 26MHz frequency.
