Hi everyone

This may sound like a silly question but how do I find out what frequency an aircraft is currently using, there are the obvious ones like if its just taken off
it would be using tower or ground at the airport etc,

for example I was tracking police 151 around crewe area today on planeplotter how would I find out what frequency they were using, or high level flights

Is there a website with the info on (i`ve googled it but couldnt really find anything) If it helps I live in manchester.

Thanks

Don't know how much use this will be, but the link below is from the NATS,

http://www.nats-uk.ead-it.com/public/in ... d=354.html

Also, aerodrome frequencies

If you download the ATZ layer for Planeplotter you could see what areas aircraft are in and then look up the ATC.

The Taggart copter will only speak to tower/approach in your local zone. You won't get much more out of it than that. I can testify as the Taggart fly their whisk over Arthur's Seat frequently. I know that's been explained before, but I have to back up what has been mentioned.
