Thanks for the info Stu! I've placed my annual leave slip on boss's desk,there are 2 staff listed as off that day,so it's dubious whether I will get that day off....time will tell!

I wonder what direction it will come from? If it flies up the Forth then I imagine there will be a good view from the road bridge, especially as it flies over the rail bridge :)

I reckon the road bridge is your best bet - either direction you'll get a good view. Might even make a fuel stop at EDI?

Probably get a good view of the new Queensferry crossing too, one of these days I'll get myself down there and see how it's coming along.

Naming of ship to take place at 11am,just look for a guy who looks like he should be at a heavy metal concert toting camera gear! (The Blue Peugeot 406 with the Pict and Saltire stickers on the boot are a good indication I am there!)

I gather HM Govt have jus about saved up enough to buy one of the aforementioned planes.... Once they have pensioned off Lusty an her crew then they will have enough fuel money to fly the F35....... But not right far
