I was reading about freebanding and how active it is all over the world, then I came across this post about paragliders and how the Radio Agency in the UK has unofficially waved them on to use 2 metres illegally, I take it they are talking about Ofcom.

Have heard them at the bottom end of the band here in Ayrshire, we gets lots of flights here with them heading to the Clyde coast areas.

Have heard a paraglider thingy just once over a radio an the racket was unreal... Guy was shouting to his mate to make him self heard.... No bad language jus lots of shouting n balling....
Have loaded the freqs into me Handheld so might get lucky n hear em..

Bet the range is fantastic....
