Advice needed please

Post by LeakyFeeder »

Righto need some honest advice here..

My dad enjoys watching the planes at Leeds/Bradford an will often come flying with me when time an money permits...
Now the hes asking about getting his own scanner just to listen to the airband when at home an the marine band when out in the touring caravan... Hes after a handheld that is easy to use an without all the bells an whistles...I will input all the freqs he needs an all he needs is to switch it on an charge the batteries....

Any ideas what would be best.... ?

The Uniden UBC30XLT is cheap and covers all of that... or it's current equivalent...

About £60 brand new or anything from half that second hand.
