Tattoo flypasts 2013?

I managed to get up to my usual perch on Calton Hill. Got a great view of it coming in for a 24 approach into EDI. It then performed a go- round which brought it back over the city centre and the Castle at 1450 feet before performing another approach and landing. A very impressive sight and, blimey, what a quiet aircraft it was. Hardly any sound - amazing

Off out to catch a couple of Tattoo Tonkas now

The Tornadoes were accurate to the second again tonight. I'm very impressed with how they manage it.

There was actually 3 Phoons in the run-in. The "spare" left the formation as it passed Prestonpans and returned to Leuchars ahead of the other 2

Ahh,so a repeat of one Saturday night around the same time last year then! Only then it was 2 Phoons one broke off and RTB Damn! Wish I hadn't that many things happening on Monday night,I'd have gone up the hill to video that,still,at least I filmed the Phoon pair over my flat! Oh well a wee wait until Leuchars and then that's it until East Fortune next year..... I take it the Navy are Tattoo hosts next year? That will mean a small number of flypasts again until the RAF host it!!
