Didn't see them and i was outside all day. Saw them on the 28th thou.
Ham: Yaesu FT-100D, Yaesu FC-20.
CB: KPO DX 5000(V4), TTI-TCB-880.
Scanner: Uniden Bearcat UBC 3500XLT, Alinco DJ-X3, Yupiteru MVT-7100.
PMR 446: Binatone Terrain 550.

They were defo up today, listened to both their 11:57 & 14:57 practice displays.
Bring on Waddington Airshow 2012...

I cant confirm if they were or not, I didnt hear them yesterday, but I just presumed I was too far away. I didnt try listening in to them today as I was busy listening in to the preperations for the torch arriving here in Stoke.

I don't scan for them that often see them nearly every day in the summer. Usally listen at Waddo airshow thou just to hear the BBMF lanc pilot cos he sounds like Darth Vader. :lol:

I've not heard them doing their display on my own scanner but I have heard them on the tannoy system at airshows, its great to hear them shouting "Smoke on GO" etc :lol:

Does BBMF still use 122.700 for displays?

Its listed in my Airwaves 2012 book as 122.7 (Primary) & 120.8 (Secondary)

That's a bit disappointing, I had hoped the BBMF would be authentic and use the frequencies that the RAF used to use during the war 8)

Apparently Bomber Command used to be on 103.86 megacycles

:D Just heard the red arrows on the A/A freq doing their display at cosford. Could hear them here in Stoke. First time ive heard them performing on my scanner. :lol:

Their A/A freqs are 243.45 Primary & 242.2 Secondary

Reds 243.450

The scanning directory you mentioned is over 7 years out of date. Dont rely on freqs in it being used today.
