First time I have noticed this but had an AS365 Dauphin show up as an Mlat pick-up and the aircraft symbol actually showed up as being a helicopter.
Usually it is just a normal plane symbol so it must be a change on the latest version of the software.
I am really going to have to start having a good play around with Planeplotter because it is a far more powerful piece of software than I originally thought, I think I am only scratching the surface of it at the moment.

Damn, just seen one of the Airbus Belugas through the window as I was on the scanners and didnt have my camera on hand again :(
Showed up on PlanePlotter as F-GSTB

Also on Planeplotter for a good part of the afternoon is EC-335 showing as CASA016 , an Airbus A330 MRTT.

The ICAO id is 343447 and the route comes up as CASA TEST, doing circuits over the North Sea off the Lincolnshire coast.

Seems it is one of the new Airbus re-fuelling tankers that several airforces are buying.

Refuelling trails in ARA8 with REBEL 80 today. Yesterday was working with REBEL 84 in ARA8.
Tuesday it was with GAUNTLET 57 in ARA12

Last weeks sorties were also in ARA8 with GAUNTLET 57 (GAUNTLET 59 was filming the trials)

Note that the GAUNTLETs would have plotted as BDN57 & BDN59

Can anyone shed any light on this one?
ZJ809x, Flight number NIGHTM31, ICAO 260701, type EUFI (possibly a Typhoon? seem to think they are also known as a EuroFighter?) seen at the time of this post.

It does not show up on Scramble as far as I can tell.

Just to edit, found it and it is indeed a Typhoon.

Odd, I got the Typhoon but cannot see the Hawk or Tristar unless they are outside the map area I have got PlanePlotter set to.

That is strange, not showing up for me. Seems we are somehow getting different things on Mlat.

If a plane has been plotted as a result of 'mlat' fixes then it is available to be seen by all users. If you are not seeing the same aircraft then you must have some filtering in place that is excluding it.

Ref your earlier post regarding the tanker, todays sortie was again in ARA8 with REBEL 83 as the receiver.
