Tait T2010 Mk2

Post by scottyboy »

I got myself some Tait t2010 mk2 along with other Tait t2000 radios, I have old Tait software but believe these are requiring a newer version as I get an error of the radio type and database version are incorrect for this product.
I’m using Tait programming tool v1.08 and the radio software version is STD 0205 and database version is 0201.
Can anyone point me in the direction of newer Tait programming software?
Thanks

I have Version 3.01.00. Not sure if it works for you but it might be worth a try. Send an email to [email protected] and we can discuss how I can send it to you.

Ok got the software and programmed a few radios no problem, well 1 problem is none of them will tx.
These are ex taxi radios with the data boards installed and originally worked on auto cab and auriga systems.
Reading elsewhere it was suggested that to return to conventional radios a modification needs done to disable the data system?
Can anyone confirm if this is the case?
There is nothing in the software I can see to do this.
Thanks

Did you try removing the board?

Not yet, I was hoping there was an easy way to fix it before opening it up, will get some time tonight to get a better look and open 1 up.

I seem to remember that shorting out pins 2 and 14 on the back connector with a wire link allows it to TX.

Spot on, I found out last night that was the case and tried it. Working good now.
