Prices will tumble. It wasn't so ling ago the 5R was £35, now you can get two for £25.

The MD380 is still well North or a one-er, so I'd be interested to know why you think the 380 will suddenly halve in price when no other TYT product has yet to do so? plus the DM, for all its faults, is dual band, so you'd need to buy both a VHF and UHF 380 to replicate them.

I'm not blind to the DM's potential pitfalls, but then I'm also not blinded by all the gooey love talk surrounding then TYT either.
