sdr# not working now ?

Guys help ??!! got one off these " cosycave " dongles that I have plugged into my pc and running sdr# software, although I don't use te dongle a lot whenever I run the software / dongle its works perfectly that is until up to today, when I plug the dongle in and run the sdr# software I get the message " rtl /sdr /usb is either not connected or its driver is not working properly "

any ideas ?

Try another usb port. Or try rebooting your PC.

Okay cheers but unfortunately still nothing, when I plug the dongle in on the pc I cannot hear the pc recognising that there is something being plugged in ie usual recognition noise is not heard , should the dongle it show up within my computer ?

restore your computer to a earlier point when the dongle/SDR was working...
you,be lost the driver by the looks of it...

Okay cheers can I just download the driver software again if so anyone got a link ? been that long since I initially set up my dongle / software bit lost with it all.

also I got it wrong when I plug the dongle into the usb port off my pc yes I do hear the regular recognition noise but then that's it,argh ??!!

Okay tried a system restore but still no joy, was going to try and uninstall sdr# and start again but cant even see it within my list off installed programmes ?? the sdr # icon is on my pc desktop with all the associated files within. so anyone fancy helping this pc numpty with installing the driver again or even uninstalling everything and starting from scratch ??!!

Quick update - found zigzag and pressed install driver= all working again !! thanks
